Terms of use

Bostyn is software that helps you classify goods, calculate landed cost, gather supplier evidence and publish product passports. These are the plain-language terms for using it.

Your account

You need an account for your organisation to use the workspace. Keep credentials to yourself, and tell us straight away if an account is compromised.

Each plan sets a number of SKUs, passports and users. We will tell you before anything is restricted if you reach a limit.

Your data stays yours

You own the records you put in. We process them to run the service for you, and we do not sell them or use them for anyone else.

What Bostyn is not

Bostyn is not legal, tax or customs advice, and it is not a customs agent. Duty figures are estimates based on the codes and rates in your workspace at the time of calculation.

Money back work is identified and evidenced by Bostyn; the claim itself is filed by your broker or adviser. Bostyn is paid 20% of duty recovered, and nothing if nothing is found.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and to tell you in advance about planned maintenance. Regulation is a moving target, so rules and dates in the product are updated as the law changes.

Plans are billed per organisation per month and exclude VAT. Annual plans include two months free. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
